C&ES are especially active in thought leadership activities and research and development of methodologies, standards and practical solutions. We believe this equips us with an unparalleled ability to design solutions to meet client needs, leveraging our unique blend of operational experience, technical capabilities and underpinning theoretical knowledge, informed by our extensive real world management and leadership skills.

C&ES is not only a theoretically based security research consultancy, but maintains currency in practical field work, for example, by conducting Security Vulnerability Assessments (SVAs), Business Impact Assessments and providing consultancy support to major projects. This includes involvement in very large and complex infrastructure projects; conducting multifaceted security risk assessments, identifying and treating security risks and thereafter developing and articulating Operational Requirements (ORs) plus response plans for the client, leading to professional assistance in the resultant tender action. C&ES recently advised on two major multi-million Euro projects in Europe and the Middle East and prides itself on an in-depth and practical approach to addressing the client’s needs. We are also very active in providing project management and interim solutions to clients, acting on their behalf throughout the security and associated project lifecycle.

C&ES has significant expertise in Security Management Systems, such as ISO 28000- security management systems for the supply chain and our team includes qualified Lead Auditors. We specialise in long term engagement with major clients and are currently designing and implementing security management systems for Pan-European organisations and providing assistance in developing associated ‘Security Risk Management Toolkits’. This requires an in-depth understanding of a wide range of standards, guidelines and good practice.
